Tony Agar MRIN Yacht Delivery

RYA Yachtmaster (Ocean) Sail and Power, licenced by the UK Authorities (RYA/MCA) to deliver power and sailing yachts or small ships up to 200 GRT anywhere in the World

Deliveries

At the start, we take our time working with clients, ideally in a face to face meeting to ensure we will meet their expectations and agree a passage plan with them. On joining your vessel we will spend at least 24 hours checking the yacht's systems and in general prepartion before setting out.

Prior to departure we cover and protect vulerable areas of the interior. During the delivery your yacht will be sailed or motored conservatively so that at all times any wear and tear will be kept to a minimum.

For saftey reasons the minimum crew we require is three although on longer passages we insist on four or more depending on the size of yacht. All our skippers are qualified RYA Yachtmaster Instructors and are accompanied by at least a Yachtmaster as mate.

Therefore owners are very welcome to join the delivery and take whatever part of an RYA course they wish.

Whist all Skippers carry their own Professional Indemity Insurance we do recommend that you include them as co-owners on the ship's main insurance policy.

On completion we provide a report detailing how the vessel and it's systems performed so that owners are able to immediately put in hand any repairs or modifications that they may wish.

We never forget how important your yacht is to you and ensure that you are kept informed at every stage of the delivery.
