Yacht Deliveries
To start, we like to work with you, ideally in a face to face meeting to ensure that we will meet your requirements and have an agreed passage plan in place.
Whilst we carry Professional Indemnity Insurance, we will check for you that your insurance company is happy to cover your yacht and the crew for the delivery voyage and are happy with the manning level. We can always organise insurance for your yacht delivery regardless of the time of year through our own brokers.
On joining your yacht we will spend at least 24 hours checking over the yachts systems and in general preparation before setting out. Prior to departure we cover and protect all vulnerable areas with bubble wrap or similar.
During the voyage, your yacht will be sailed or motored conservatively in order to minimise any wear and tear. For example, we will not put to sea if the weather forecast exceeds your yachts type approval. We will keep you informed of yachts position at every stage of the delivery.
On completion we will account fully for any expenses incurred and provide a report on the vessels performance and systems.
We never forget that we are guests on your yacht for the duration of the delivery trip and hopefully you would want to invite us back again!
Own Boat/Yacht Tuition
If you would like some sailing or motor yacht tuition on your own boat we will be delighted to provide it. We can provide tuition on a daily or weekly basis, to suit your requirements and availability.
As an RYA training establishment we can provide you with any course you require up to and including Celestial Navigation.
We are also able to examine candidates for their ICC Certificate and the CEVNI endorsement.
